We are a producer of our own content focused on the idea that words and sounds tell us the same idea through different means.  In musicaparacuentos we focus on making interdisciplinary content in all its modalities and we believe that the power of the arts is multiplied when they manage to unite in synchrony.

 

We have small format content such as The Sounds of the Phrases , where the musical pieces together with the illustrations try to describe a suggestive literary phrase; and also more ambitious contents such as the book Preludes Contados , where we find voice and piano recordings of all the stories, illustrations and an interactive application to enhance the subjective experience of the reader, thus immersing oneself in a pleasant environment surrounded by all the stories in the book.  

 

Furthermore, as we understand music as a language that is capable of communicating content in a discursive way but without the ability to specify the spoken language, we always try to help understand the musical content through literary and / or extra-musical suggestions. Never to force the music to say things that it does not say, but to help those of us who listen to go deeper into the musical meaning of the works.

 

That's why in  musicaparacuentos we also develop a pedagogical part in our  music school . Through the guitar and the piano and always relying on the teachings of musical language, harmony and even composition, we try to convey that passion to discover a musical language that, if it truly exists, is universal in the sense that we can all learn it. , but we are not born knowing it.
